Exhibition Stand Print Finisher
An exciting position is now available within the manufacturing assembly and finishing team of an award winning and market leading portable Exhibition Stands manufacturer. The industry can be fast paced and dynamic at key periods of the year, to achieve customer lead-times.
You must be a hard-working, diligent individual with a strong work ethic. A fantastic eye for detail and a passion for quality are a must.
A positive ‘can do’ attitude is essential, with the ability to work under pressure to achieve challenging customer and production deadlines whilst adhering to strict quality standards and manufacturing procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Hand finishing and assembly of portable Exhibition Stand products
- Working with the Production Manager, production team and Print Department to ensure daily production targets are met
- Operate a ZUND cutter and other production equipment
- Achieve set product production times
- Preparation of products for quality inspection
- Complete production tracking paperwork and documentation
- Packaging and shipping label completion for customers' orders
- Maintain a clean and safe work area throughout shift
- Perform daily production closing protocols and preparation for the next business day
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- A strong work ethic
- Ability to self-motivate and work and achieve deadlines
- Enjoy working as part of a team but also able to work under self-management
- Previous experience within the print industry would be a benefit but not essential as full training will be given
- Physically fit and able to undertake manual work
- Attention to detail and passion to do a good job
- Fast learner and ability to adapt to daily challenges
- Ability to work under pressure
This role is based in Peterborough at our print and production facility. This full-time position with working hours of 8 am - 5 pm Monday to Friday but may vary due to customer workflow. Overtime may be required during busy periods, and you would need to be prepared to be flexible.
Pay: £27,000.00-£29,500.00 per year (dependant on experience or ability)
